Overview
The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Human Resources Department with employee welfare, benefit programs, employee orientations and serving as the liaison in communication and support. Provide support in distributing the necessary correspondence with employees to communicate benefit information and company announcements.
Responsibilities
- Conduct New Hire Orientations & Employee Handbook Training
- Conduct Benefit Orientations
- Track Company Property: cell phones, fuel cards, credit cards, etc.
- Assist in the completion of Job Descriptions and tracking
- Create Job Postings for open positions and manage job boards
- Participate in the Interview Process for Group 2 Employees
- Coordinate and track Termination Paperwork
- Coordinate and track personnel documents
- Coordinate Insurance/401k Open Enrollment & Eligibility Meetings
- Assist supervisors in conducting 90 Day Reviews for Group 2 Employees
- Manage Oregon Directory and Organizational Charts
- Assist with HR trainings and coordination of meetings
- Track FLC Compliance paperwork & communicate with supervisors/CAO on incompliance
- Disburse mail, answer phones, and be liaison for hard copy documents to be sent to CA
Requirements
- 2-3 years experience in Human Resources
- Ability to handle highly confidential information
- Knowledge of Federal and State laws & regulations
- Excellent verbal and written communication
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Human Resources
- SHRM/PHR Certification
