Production Assembler

Location: Logan, UT Contract to Hire Shift & Pay: + Monday-Thursday 6am-4:30pm ($16/hr) + Monday-Thursday 7:30pm-6am ($18.40/hr) + Friday-Sunday 6am-6:30pm ($17.60/hr)

Job Description

Join our team as a Production Assembler, where you will play a crucial role in producing high-quality bioprocess containers in a cleanroom environment. Your responsibilities will include safely executing production processes by closely following Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Work Instruction Documents (WID), and manufacturing blueprints.

Responsibilities:

  • Manufacture, operate machinery, assemble tubing and connectors, and package products according to product blueprints and manufacturing drawings.
  • Utilize tools and equipment such as computers, calculators, measuring tools, assembly hand tools, bioprocess container machinery, and pallet jacks.
  • Adhere to all safety requirements and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
  • Ensure products meet quality standards by cooperating with upstream and downstream stations, implementing mutual inspections, and correcting quality errors.
  • Record accurate documentation in Production Control Documents (PCD) as tasks are performed.
  • Actively participate in Practical Process Improvements (PPI), Lean, and Continuous Improvement activities, including 5S activities.
  • Work effectively as part of a team, assisting with training and mentoring co-workers.
  • Focus on personal development through timely and proactive completion of training.

Essential Skills:

  • Experience in general production and assembly work.
  • Proficient in reading and following blueprints.
  • Skilled in using hand tools and assembly line equipment.
  • Familiarity with medical device production and packaging.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
  • Ability to work in a cleanroom environment.
  • Capable of standing for the majority of the shift.
  • Comfortable performing repetitive tasks.

Work Environment

The work is conducted in a cleanroom environment where proper cleanroom PPE, including a bunny suit, hair net, gloves, and booties, is required. Employees must be able to lift 25+ lbs and work shifts that may vary, including day, evening, and night hours.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Logan, Utah.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.40/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
