Overview

Hospice Executive Director (Administrator) – Houston area (North Houston). Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

Anticipated pay range: $130,000–$140,000 USD.

Responsibilities

  • Organize and direct all services and functions of the Silverado Hospice program.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Patient Care Services to ensure effective management of the Interdisciplinary Team.
  • Maintain and evaluate the Silverado Hospice program to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Develop, coordinate, and monitor the annual program budget.
  • Maintain written service agreements with other approved providers to meet patient and family needs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Healthcare or Administration is preferred.
  • Certificate in Hospice Management is preferred.
  • Two to five years of experience as an Administrator or Executive Director for a Hospice provider is preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record required; compliance with state and federal driving regulations.
  • Ability to work outside regular hours as needed by business needs.

What you'll be doing

  • Understand and practice Silverado's mission, principles, and values.
  • Direct all services of the Silverado Hospice program and coordinate with the DPCS to manage the Interdisciplinary Team.
  • Ensure program compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Oversee budget development, coordination, and monitoring.
  • Maintain written service agreements with other providers to meet patient and family needs.
