Role Overview

You will own significant pieces of the iOS app we are developing to assist chefs around the world. Think of it as a state-of-the-art GPT meets Perplexity for food. You will also be responsible for shipping the app with the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining backend services, APIs, and databases.
• Collaborate with engineers to build responsive and user-friendly web interfaces.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality and performance.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including founders, designers, and other engineers, to deliver innovative solutions.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and best practices.
• Stay curious and proactive in learning new technologies and applying them to solve real-world problems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years work experience
• Experience building in Swift
• Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to take on challenges and learn from them.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with an eagerness to collaborate and contribute.
• Knowledge of AI/ML concepts or experience with mobile app development.
