Job Description Summary:

The Enterprise Architect will provide visionary guidance in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable web and backend architectures for applications supporting the firm's bold growth and relentless scalability goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Provide visionary guidance in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable web and backend architectures for applications supporting the firm's growth and scalability objectives.
  • Artificial Intelligence Integration: Lead the exploration and implementation of AI technologies to enhance applications, identifying opportunities for AI-driven business outcomes.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster strong partnerships across departments, promoting alignment between IT and business units.
  • Organizational Leadership: Contribute to strategic decision-making and influence the firm's technology direction.
  • Innovation: Partner with stakeholders to understand objectives, conduct assessments, build prototypes, and develop solutions leveraging AI and emerging tech.
  • Technology Roadmap: Influence the firm's technology strategy, staying abreast of emerging technologies like AI to drive innovation.
  • Project Oversight: Lead strategic tech initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, reduce risk, and automate manual tasks. Oversee development of scalable platforms and reusable solutions.
  • Lifecycle Management: Oversee the software development lifecycle, establish coding standards, conduct code reviews, and lead testing processes.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and lead development teams, fostering skill growth and collaboration.
  • Architectural Governance: Collaborate with IT Architects and ARB to ensure architectural consistency and best practices.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Translate technical concepts into business terms for stakeholders.
  • Minimum Qualifications:

    • At least 12 years in systems development, with 6+ years in system design and architecture.
    • Proven experience in AI and machine learning solutions.
    • Experience in strategic planning and leading large-scale initiatives.
    • Strong understanding of cloud/data architecture, distributed systems, and AI tech.
    • Minimum 5 years hands-on AWS, SaaS, RESTful APIs, SQL, and cloud solutions experience.
    • Proficiency in Java, C#, .NET, and database programming.
    • Leadership experience managing software teams and working with offshore/vendor partners.
    • Experience with Agile methodologies.
    • Effective cross-departmental collaboration skills.
    • Proven organizational leadership and strategic influence.
    • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Bachelor's in Computer Science or related; advanced degree preferred.

    The salary range for this role is:

    Minimum: $194,200

    Maximum: $264,100

    In addition, the role includes an annual bonus and benefits. Salary placement depends on skills, experience, and internal factors.
