Responsibilities:
- Implement, enhance, and manage security tools and technologies to identify and protect Zoom IT assets, detect security incidents, and respond rapidly for recovery.
- Document security tools and systems, train Security Operations staff on tool usage, and support daily security operations.
- Develop and publish metrics and dashboards to demonstrate security posture and event activity.
- Perform system administration tasks necessary for maintaining security tool platforms, primarily on Linux-based systems.
What we're looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering Management, or a related field, or equivalent foreign degree.
- At least 3 years of experience in a related occupation, including detection engineering with SIEM, data engineering, SIEM administration, and analytics.
- Experience managing data pipelines with Apache Kafka, AsyncMQ, and pipeline scalability.
- Proficiency with Linux and other operating systems.
- Experience with infrastructure including servers and network devices.
- Knowledge of Apache foundation technologies.
- Telecommuting permitted; the position may be based anywhere in the U.S. with no travel required.
Additional Information:
Salary Range: $201,000 - $228,700, plus benefits and total compensation considerations.
