Location: 3632 N. Morrison Rd. Muncie, IN

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM EST

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome patients upon arrival and manage their wait times promptly and courteously.
  • Assist with the intake process by handling document verification and copying as required.
  • Collect patient payments, including co-pays, co-insurance, and deductibles, and issue receipts.
  • Maintain the cashier box and ensure daily deposits are made following company policies.
  • Facilitate the processing of walk-in patients and visitors efficiently.
  • Manage incoming calls and schedule appointments to optimize patient flow.
  • Organize and maintain medical records, ensuring they are filed and scanned in a timely manner.
  • Handle requests for medical records release and maintain accurate logs.
  • Perform other related tasks as needed to support the team.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED or higher.
  • At least 1 year of experience in healthcare or a customer service setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 1 year experience in a medical front office role, including responsibilities such as scheduling, patient check-in/out, insurance verification, and record maintenance.
  • Familiarity with medical insurance processes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Knowledge of EMR software and medical terminology.
