Job Location : Westfield,NJ, USA
A warm and professional Westfield family is seeking a long-term Family Assistant/Housekeeper to support their busy household and care for their 5-year-old son.
Schedule:
– Monday–Friday, 12:30 PM–6:30 PM
– Start date: June 2, 2025
– Flexibility for later evenings (rarely past 10:30 PM) when parents have events or business dinners
– Overnights will be requested occasionally when both parents are traveling for work
– Note: B5 is currently in school until 5 PM, but this will shift to 2–3 PM in the future, allowing for adjusted hours to accommodate daily responsibilities
Responsibilities:
– After-school care for B5, including snack, homework, bath, and pajamas
– School/activity pickups and transportation
– Light housekeeping & home organization (family already has existing weekly cleaning service)
– Laundry/Iron and closet/drawer organization
– Meal prep for the child and family; preparing school lunches
– Running errands and managing household inventory
-Pet-care for 1 Cat (filling food bowl, cleaning water bowl, replacing litter robot bag weekly, vacuuming litter closet daily, brushing)
Household Notes:
– Family has a friendly cat
-Use of a family vehicle is available during working hours for school runs and household tasks.
-Family has a pool

– A clear communicator who confidently asks questions and seeks clarity as needed
– Comfortable with occasional domestic or international travel (a plus, not a must)

Requirements:
– 5+ years of relevant childcare/household experience
– CPR/First Aid Certified
– Clean criminal and driving record
– Fluent in English
