Job Summary

As a Pastry Apprentice, you will play a crucial role in creating delectable pastries and ensuring exceptional service for our guests. This position offers an exciting opportunity to learn various aspects of the Bakery Department, including clerk and cake decorator functions. We are seeking a team player with a passion for culinary arts and a drive to grow within a dynamic work environment.

• Experience Required: 0 to 6 months
• Experience Desired: Prior experience in a bakery or related industry
• Education Desired: No High School diploma required
• Lifting Requirement: Up to 50 pounds
• Job Location: Greater Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Columbus, and Indianapolis Areas

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake pastry products according to established recipes and specifications
• Provide exemplary customer service and suggestive selling, ensuring customer satisfaction
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the bakery department
• Record special orders and assist in maintaining inventory
• Unloading deliveries and assisting in other areas as required
