Description: Day-to-Day Duties
- Greet customers in a friendly, helpful manner and provide excellent service.
- Assist customers with locating products, answering questions, and carrying items if needed.
- Stock shelves, displays, and coolers; rotate merchandise to ensure freshness.
- Check for and remove expired or damaged products.
- Operate cash registers, process payments, and handle transactions accurately (if assigned to cashiering).
- Bag groceries carefully and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in aisles, shelves, and work areas.
- Assist with unloading, receiving, and organizing deliveries.
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards.
- Support other departments (produce, meat, seafood, bakery, etc.) as needed.
- Perform opening and closing tasks depending on assigned shift.
