We are recruiting for a Per-Diem Outpatient Receptionist to join our skilled team of pediatricprofessionals! Location: Floater position for Vineland and Sewell. POSITION SUMMARY: •Responsible for answering telephone calls andtransferring to appropriate destinations. •Responsible for greeting patients •Responsible for collecting requireddocumentation, copays, deductibles, or paymentof services prior to treatment. Documentand balance daily collection totals. •Responsible for performing dailyinsurance verifications as needed. •Responsible for monitoringentrances and exits of visitors, patients and families. •Handle various clerical functionsas assigned by Manager and/or Director. Will be trained by the Manager pertaining to HBC procedures. •Thorough knowledge of facilitypolicies and procedures as it relates to the above duties. •Must be flexible with availabilityand be willing to travel as needed between sites POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: •HighSchool diploma or GED •Twoyears of experience in clerical/healthcare environment •Experiencewith insurance verification processes •Computerliterate in Excel, MS Word, and Outlook •Abilityto communicate effectively with team members and patient's families •Abilityto function independently or under supervision as task requires •Organizationaland time management skills. •Strongcustomer service skills •Flexibleavailability to cover shifts as needed and ability to travel independentlybetween locations as needed Please visit our careers page to see more job opportunities.
