Central Monitor Telemetry Technician is responsible for accurately interpreting telemetry data, promptly identifying abnormalities and coordinating with health professionals to address patient needs.What you will doMonitor patient vital signs using telemetry equipmentIdentify and report abnormalities in telemetry data to healthcare professionalsCoordinate with nursing staff to ensure appropriate patient care interventionsMaintain telemetry equipment and ensure its proper functioningDocument relevant patient data and telemetry observationsParticipate in training sessions to remain updated with telemetry technologyQualifications:QualificationsH.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Successful completion of Basic Dysrhythmia Course Preferredless than 1 year Entry-level experience in medical technology Preferred1-3 years Experience in telemetry or patient monitoring Preferredless than 1 year Experience in a healthcare setting PreferredTelemetry MonitoringData InterpretationAttention to DetailProblem SolvingCommunicationMedical TerminologyCritical ThinkingEquipment MaintenanceDocumentationDepartment Specific RequirementsTelemetry Technician will monitor and be responsible for a ratio of no more than 1:44 patients.
