File Clerk

Responsibilities:
- Organize and maintain physical filing systems by sorting and categorizing documents.
- Scan paper documents into electronic formats for digital record-keeping.
- Ensure all digital files are accurately labeled and stored in designated e-filing systems.
- Handle file boxes and manage the transfer of records as needed.
- Verify the accuracy and completeness of documents before filing.
- Respond to requests for file retrieval and provide timely access to records as required.
- Collaborate with team members to improve filing processes and maintain compliance with organizational standards.
- Perform periodic audits to ensure files are up-to-date and correctly organized.
- Assist in archiving old records and securely disposing of outdated materials.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in paper filing and document organization.
- Experience with scanning documents and converting them into digital formats.
- Familiarity with e-filing systems and electronic document management.
- Ability to handle file boxes and manage physical storage effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of standard office equipment.
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
