The Night Auditor will be responsible for conducting all nightly audit-related duties while providing guest service at the hotel's front desk. Responsibilities include balancing duties, completing daily paperwork, and preparing shift reports. The role also involves attending to guest needs such as check-ins/check-outs, making reservations, and answering questions.

The ideal candidate should demonstrate proactive thinking, prioritize guest security, and contribute to creating a safe, clean, and friendly work environment.

• Count cash and maintain the accuracy of the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Check the front desk log for issues, special requests, etc.
• Greet guests, register, and assign rooms.
• Process guest registrations and payments.
• Prepare express checkout folios.
• Maintain room status inventory.
• Communicate shift information to relevant staff, including the Front Office Manager and General Manager.
• Maintain cleanliness of the lobby and bathroom as needed.
• Ensure a smooth transition between shifts by sharing pertinent information.
• Collaborate with hotel departments to ensure high-quality customer service.
• Answer inquiries about hotel services, registration, and local recommendations.
• Complete shift paperwork and night audit reports daily.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
