Job Title: Tool Maker / Tool Room Technician Location: Keene, NH Pay Rate: Based on experience (competitive pay offered) Schedule: •2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday, 3:00 PM - 1:00 AM (4-day workweek) Job Type: Temp-to-Hire What You'll Do: Plan and perform a wide range of precision internal/external tool setups Perform skilled bench work: grinding, milling, turning, lapping, scraping, fitting, and adjusting parts Manufacture intermediate to complex parts from engineering prints Set up and run manual and CNC machines, ensuring tight tolerances and high-quality results Select, dress, and mount tooling, grinding wheels, and fixturing Program or edit CNC programs directly at the machine using appropriate controls Operate CAD software and related systems for tooling design and machining Perform test runs, make machine adjustments, and verify part quality Inspect parts using various gages and visual inspection techniques Maintain accurate documentation and support preventive maintenance schedules Collaborate with Engineering to improve tooling design and processes Handle regulated waste materials per federal and state guidelines Perform basic welding and soldering when needed Train and assist less experienced operators as needed What We're Looking For: High School Diploma or equivalent (technical certifications preferred) Strong understanding of tooling, machining, and materials (especially steel types) Ability to read blueprints and interpret complex technical specifications Proficient with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) Industrial math skills including decimals and fractions CNC programming experience required Experience with gages, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools Basic computer knowledge and CAD/CAM proficiency Basic welding and soldering abilities Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team If you're interested in this position, please apply directly to this posting with an updated resume!Pay Details: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
