Material Handler
: Job Details :

Keystone Powdered Metal Company, a Sumitomo Electric Group company, is looking for a full-time Material Handler who will be working in our Lewis Run, PA location. This person will report to the Production Supervisor.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• To efficiently and safely operate moving equipment and satisfactorily move/bring materials to the proper locations.
• Maintain product flow throughout the entire plant, while striving to minimize equipment downtime.
• To know and follow procedures applicable to this job classification.
• Follow FIFO principals with regard to product flow
• Utilize available space for organized WIP Storage and manufacturing supplies.
• Properly maintain and store oils (New, Recycled, Waste and Recyclable).
• Maintain housekeeping and organization of the Mix Room.
• Perform Daily / Shift inspections of Material Handling Equipment.
• Effectively communicate job related information to co-workers, supervisors, service areas and others with a need to know.
• Maintain cooperative relationships with other functional areas.
• Maintain knowledge of and show compliance with all required Safety protocol and procedures.

Qualifications

• Forklift Certification
• HS Diploma or GED

Compensation may vary depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, competencies and location. Base pay is one part of the total compensation and benefits package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work.
