Mechanical Technician Or Cable Technician

We are seeking experienced industrial or commercial technicians for a six-week install project at Amazon in Liverpool, NY. This role requires being on your feet for 8-10 hours per day, heavy lifting, and working in a team setting to assemble and install automation and robotic industrial equipment.

Project start: 9/22/2025 to 11/1/2025

Shift: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:30pm with some mandatory Saturdays

Pay: $24/hr

Compliance: Must be willing to submit to a drug test and background check; Online safety certification (40-minutes); Online orientation (30 minutes)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing mechanical systems, managing cables, and working with various tools within a large warehouse environment.

Responsibilities:

• Install chutes, mechanical systems, and HMIs using hand and power tools.
• Work at heights of up to 6 feet following blueprints and standard operating procedures without deviation.
• Manage cables by installing interfaces and working with both large and small parts.
• Perform wiring tasks and ensure quality assurance in all installations and repairs.
• Engage in general production, assembly, and troubleshooting activities.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and be mechanically inclined.
• Experience in installation, repair, and assembly tasks.
• Understanding of blueprints and quality assurance processes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Familiarity with extensive physical labor and installation work.
• Excellent attendance record.

Work Environment

• Work inside a large warehouse with numerous moving parts.
• The dress code includes steel-toe shoes, jeans, and a work shirt.
• Work hours are Monday through Friday, with some Saturdays, for 8-10 hours per day.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00/hr.
