Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Security Specialist with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract position.
Responsibilities:
Build and support DevOps pipelines for Enterprise Payments systems Interface with customers and identify their needs Work with various departments from network engineers, support, and operations to ensure a plan is in motion to improve the customer's experience Work to balance various aspects of the project, from safety to design Research advanced technology regarding best practices in the field and seek to find cost-effective solutions Work closely with Information Technology professionals within the company to ensure hardware is available for projects and working properly Provide detailed specifications for proposed solutions including time and scope involved Assist other department engineers in creating practical demonstrations of proposed solutions and demonstrating them to other members of the team Establish a framework for necessary contributions from various departments and facilitate their collaboration Analyze current technologies used within the company and develop steps and processes to improve Document and monitor requirements needed to institute proposed updates in relation to customer experience Work alongside project management teams to successfully monitor progress and implementation of initiatives Account for possible project challenges or constraints and proactively seek to manage challenges Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree - preferably in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related engineering fields
- Minimum 7-10 years of hands-on experience in relevant areas, particularly in the Financial domains
- 5 years of hands-on Job Skills
- Competitive Windows SysAdmin IIS Admin Skills
- Knowledge to manage data on RDBMS' (includes data analytics)
- PowerShell scripting
- Ability to plan, design, create programs, and document through AGILE framework
- Application Container knowledge (.NET/IIS)
- Ability to design and develop application and architectural solutions for complex technology problems using available and emerging technologies
- Experience managing changes, defects, and projects across various testing and PROD environments
- Self-driven, innovative, result-oriented, with leadership and project management skills
- JAVA Full Stack Development on UNIX Windows
- Automation on Windows (PowerShell, Bladelogic, etc.)
- DEVOPS (Environment Management, Application Releases on Windows)
- Application middleware Architecture (.NET/IIS) on Java
- Network architecture
- Experience developing IT and cloud infrastructure
- Up-to-date understanding of system security best practices
- Experience with software engineering, customer experience, and design architecture
- Advanced business analysis techniques and processes
- Extensive knowledge of operating systems
- Experience analyzing computer hardware and software
- Ability to facilitate project execution across departments
- Hands-on expertise in Terraform, Ansible, and related technologies
- Experience with Windows and RHEL OS as SysAdmin
- Excellent communication skills for working with executives and leaders
- Experience creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
Desired skills:
- Master's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
- Project development and leadership skills
Pay Range: $67.36-$75.36
