Overview
Base pay range: $16.48/hr - $19.81/hr. This is a full-time Retail Banker role located at IL - Champaign (Walmart-0187). The position is with Woodforest National Bank, an employee-owned bank that emphasizes community service and customer relationships.
Responsibilities
- Achieving individual sales by proactively identifying, marketing, and recommending bank products and services beneficial to customers.
- Processing transactions, opening accounts, and performing account maintenance.
- Handling branch servicing duties such as vault balancing, cash ordering, and maintenance of automated teller machines.
- Using problem solving skills to address customer inquiries and/or concerns in a manner consistent with the Woodforest Experience training.
Qualifications
- 3 years of relevant and transferable sales and/or customer service experience; OR an Associates degree and 1 year of relevant and transferable sales and/or customer service experience; OR a Bachelors degree.
- Previous in-store banking experience is preferred, but not required.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Full-time work status.
- No supervisory responsibility.

- Travel: Little to no overnight travel; may cover nearby branches up to 45 miles from assigned location
- Working Conditions: Standing, walking, bending, stooping or sitting for brief periods; may lift/carry up to 30 lbs
