BayCare HomeCare is currently in search of our newest Home Health Aide who is passionate about providing outstanding customer service to our community. We are looking for an individual seeking a career opportunity with one of the largest employers within the Tampa Bay area.

Position Details

• Facility: BayCare Home Care
• Location: Bradenton, FL
• Status: Full Time
• Shift Hours: 8:00 AM - 9:00 PM (Tuesday - Friday)
• Weekend Work: Occasional
• On Call: Yes
• Home visits in assigned service area: Manatee County

The Home Health Aide Responsibilities include:

• Working under the guidance and supervision of the staff nurse in providing personal care to the patients.
• Following the patients' plan of care for completion of tasks assigned to a home health aide by the registered nurse or other appropriate skilled professional.
• Maintaining an open communication process with the patient, representative (if any), caregivers, and family.
• Demonstrating competency with assigned tasks.
• Complies with infection prevention and control policies and procedures.
• Reports changes in the patient condition; and honors patient rights.

Required Certifications and Licensures:

• CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) or HHA certification from accredited 75-hour program
• Driver's License State of Florida (Florida driver's license is required within 30 days of hire)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)

Education:

• Preferred: High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience:

• Preferred 1 year Home Care
