Job Description:We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Radiologic Technologist - Radiographer for a 13-week contract in Elmhurst, NY. This role offers a competitive pay rate of $57–$60 per hour and provides an excellent opportunity to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging in an acute care setting. Candidates will work closely with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure accurate imaging and patient safety.
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures as ordered by physicians.
- Ensure proper patient positioning and radiation safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate records in EPIC and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and staff to optimize patient care.
- Provide compassionate support to patients during procedures.
Requirements:
- Valid Radiologic Technologist license issued by the New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH).
- ARRT certification required.
- BLS certification preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of General Radiographer experience, including acute care experience.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Schedule:
- Shift: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM
- Alternating weekends & holidays required.
- Initial 2 weeks of training, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, including EPIC training class.
- In-person interviews required.
