RN Correctional @ Cibola County Correctional CenterNights - 3x12hrs13 weeksJob Summary:The Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive nursing care by executing Licensed Independent Provider (LIP) orders, administering medications, and assisting with patient examinations and treatments. This role involves applying clinical and supervisory nursing skills in the care, treatment, and referral of inmates/residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver nursing care within scope of practice, licensure, and education.
• Assist providers during examinations and treatments.
• Prepare exam rooms, equipment, and patient lists for sick calls.
• Operate pill call, dispense medications, and document per policy.
• Assess and treat inmates/residents with illnesses or injuries, referring to emergency or specialized care when needed.
• Perform emergency procedures and obtain provider treatment orders.
• Communicate with LIPs regarding medication, treatment orders, or emergencies.
• Coordinate professional medical services with contract personnel and support their needs.
