About the Role:

Demandbase is seeking a highly analytical and strategic Pricing Strategist Director to lead pricing strategy, execution, and governance across our suite of B2B products. This role is critical to maximizing revenue, accelerating customer acquisition, and ensuring pricing alignment to customer value while supporting product and go-to-market strategies.

You'll work cross-functionally with senior leaders in Product, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Success to drive pricing decisions and lead our Pricing Committees. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in monetization, excellent stakeholder management skills, and a proven ability to simplify complex pricing decisions through clear analysis and strategic communication. Experience at a pricing consultancy such as Simon-Kucher, ProfitWell or similar is a strong plus.

This is a high-visibility, individual contributor role that reports to the Sr. Director of Product Marketing.

What you'll be doing:

  • Pricing Strategy: Develop, refine, and scale pricing models across our product portfolio, ensuring alignment with customer value and market dynamics.
  • Stakeholder Leadership: Serve as the lead coordinator for the internal Pricing Committee, facilitating executive decision-making with data-backed recommendations.
  • Monetization Frameworks: Build and apply monetization frameworks to evaluate packaging, price levels, discounting, and value metrics.
  • Competitive & Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth research on competitor pricing, industry trends, and customer willingness-to-pay in partnership with our Competitive Intelligence leader. Develop pricing benchmarks and positioning insights.
  • Scenario Modeling & Forecasting: Run sensitivity analyses, margin impact models, and scenario planning to understand trade-offs of pricing changes.
  • Cross-Functional Execution: Collaborate with Marketing, Sales Ops, Finance, and Product teams to operationalize pricing changes and support GTM execution.

What we're looking for:

  • 7+ years of experience in pricing, monetization, strategy consulting, or corporate finance — ideally in a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Demonstrated success leading or influencing pricing decisions with senior stakeholders.
  • Strong financial modeling, data analysis, and Excel/Google Sheets skills.
  • Experience with SaaS metrics and familiarity with pricing models like usage-based, tiered, or value-based pricing.
  • Experience building or managing credit-based consumption models is highly preferred.
  • Structured thinker with the ability to distill complex data into clear insights and executive-ready recommendations.
  • Experience working in or with pricing consultancies like Simon-Kucher or ProfitWell is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills with an ability to drive cross-functional alignment.
  • Self-starter who can operate independently yet collaboratively and thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

We offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support health, well-being, and financial security. Our employees enjoy up to 100% paid premiums for Medical and Vision coverage, mental wellness resources (including access to Modern Health), a flexible PTO policy, 15 paid holidays in 2025 (including mid-year breaks and Thanksgiving), and No Internal Meetings Fridays to provide uninterrupted focus. We also offer a competitive 401(k), short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, and other benefits.

Our Commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at Demandbase:

We value and celebrate diversity and are committed to creating a workplace where everyone feels valued, respected, and supported. Discrimination of any kind is not tolerated, and we strive to ensure equal opportunity for all applicants. We encourage people from all backgrounds to apply.

We recognize that not all candidates will have every skill listed. If you have the level of experience to be successful in the role, we encourage you to apply!
