Become a Scanning Operations And Documents Control Associate

Location: (Onsite) Jacksonville, FL

Employment Type: Full-time employment, benefits and team atmosphere

Pay Rate: $17.00/hr

Work Schedule: Saturday-Friday | 7:30am- until clean desk

Clean Desk Policy: Our Clean Desk Policy means there isn't a fixed time to leave each day. While Monday and Tuesday are high volume day's, where employee's average between 9-10hours.

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Scanning Operations And Documents Control Associate to join our team. This position is responsible for opening, sorting, and preparing mail and documents for further processing and scanning. The ideal candidate will have strong hand-eye coordination, the ability to work at a fast pace, and a foundational understanding of basic computer skills. Training will be provided on specific systems and tools used in the role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Open and sort incoming envelopes and packages
  • Remove and prepare documents for scanning (e.g., unfolding, removing staples, organizing pages)
  • Group similar documents together for efficient processing
  • Maintain organization and flow within the document preparation process
  • Follow proper handling procedures to maintain document integrity
  • Ensure all mail is processed accurately and within required timeframes
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Assist with other administrative or clerical tasks as needed
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Important!! Must be ok with clean desk policy.
  • Basic computer skills are required (e.g., navigating a desktop environment, opening files, data entry)
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
  • Ability to sit for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
  • Ability to meet performance and productivity goals in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to lift up to 10lbs if required
  • Must be able to pass Criminal Background Screening
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
  • This position involves prolonged periods of sitting and frequent use of hands/fingers
  • Must be able to lift and carry light to moderately heavy mail trays or boxes (up to [insert weight limit])
  • Work is performed in an office or production/mailroom setting

Pay Transparency Laws in some locations require disclosure of compensation and/or benefits-related information. For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. In addition, Conduent provides a variety of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation and/or sick time. The estimated salary range for this role is $28,000-35,000.
