* The Recruitment Range For This Position Is $37,782 - $38,337*This position serves as a member of a team with shared work responsibilities involving the operational functions of the CDSA. This position supports functions that allow the CDSA to maximize agency revenues, maintain staff efficiency and comply with state and federal requirements. Duties include:* Referrals: Referrals are accepted and processed to ensure that services are initiated in accordance with Infant-Toddler Program requirements* Medical Records: Medical records are maintained and managed to ensure confidentiality, inclusion of required documents, and adherence to authorized format according to local procedures.* Office Management and Support: Daily satellite office functions are managed to promote efficiency and consistency for general office procedures.* Data Entry: ITP information for satellite office is entered into the ITP data system to ensure essential program data for monitoring and reporting purposesThis position is located in the CDSA of WNC satellite office in Sylva, NC.About the North Carolina Early Intervention (NCEI) Branch:The North Carolina Early Intervention Branch (NCEI) is a part of the N.C. Division of Public Health. It is the lead agency for the N.C. Infant-Toddler Program (ITP). The Infant-Toddler Program provides support and services for families and their children, birth to three who have special needs. Research shows that this time period is critical. It offers a window of opportunity to make a positive difference in how a child develops and learns.
