Nanny/Housekeeper - Main Line near Wayne/Bryn Mawr, PA Full-Time | Live-Out | Starts January 2026 Title: Nanny/Housekeeper Location: Main Line near Wayne/Bryn Mawr, PA Schedule:
- Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM (roughly 52 hours per week)
- Overtime is paid for hours worked over 40 per week.
- Additional hours available for date nights etc. Looking for someone very flexible and eager to earn more.
Compensation & Benefits:
- $30-$35 per hour (on payroll)
- Overtime for hours worked over 40 per week

About the Family: A family of four relocating from Paris to the Wayne/Bryn Mawr area in January 2026 is seeking a professional Nanny/Housekeeper to support their two school-aged children, 6 and 8 years old, and assist with housekeeping. The children are active and enjoy both sports, outdoors, and reading. The family values reliability, adaptability, and a collaborative spirit in their household team. Position Overview: The Nanny/Housekeeper will split time between childcare and housekeeping responsibilities. The mornings and afternoons will be centered around supporting the children's school routine, with household responsibilities taking place during school hours. The position requires flexibility and initiative, as the parents' work schedules may involve travel. Childcare Responsibilities:
- Morning routine: assist children in preparing for school and managing school drop-off (7:30-9:00 AM)
- Afternoon/evening care: school pick-up, homework support, enrichment activities, and dinner preparation for the children
- Preparation of school lunches
- Provide a safe, engaging, and structured environment for the children
Housekeeping Responsibilities:
- Household upkeep during school hours (9:00 AM-3:00 PM), including full housekeeping, laundry, ironing, grocery shopping, organization, and errands
- Assist with household operations as needed.
- Ensure smooth household function during times when both parents may be traveling for work
Ideal Candidate:
- Professional experience in both childcare and housekeeping
- Strong communication skills and fluency in English to support children learning English, as the children primarily speak only French.
- Flexible, reliable, organized, and proactive in managing both childcare and household duties
- Comfortable working independently and taking initiative to anticipate household needs
