As a Pre-Service Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience at Saint Joseph Health System. Working in a collaborative environment, you will support clinical operations by verifying insurance benefits, securing authorizations, and facilitating pre-registration processesall while delivering exceptional customer service. What You Will Do:Verify insurance eligibility, benefits, and authorization requirements. Communicate with providers, payers, and patients to resolve billing and scheduling issues. Pre-register patients and collect financial liabilities including co-pays and deductibles. Validate medical necessity for Medicare and Non-Medicare cases. Support scheduling, documentation correction, and reporting as needed. What You Will Need:High school diploma required; post-secondary education in business or healthcare preferred 35 years of experience in healthcare or insurance setting.
