You will act as the central hub for the hardware portfolio and champion the voice of diverse global customers to shape the product roadmap and capture solutions. Reporting to the VP of Product Management, you will collaborate with Engineering (Hardware, Software, and Computer Vision), Design, Marketing, Sales, and Field Research teams.

Responsibilities

  • Customer Expertise: Become the expert on global customer segments, understanding workflows and reality-capture needs through research, data analysis, and direct interaction.

  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams across Hardware Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Vision, Sales, Marketing, and Field Research.
  • Data-Informed Decisions: Balance customer value, technical feasibility, time to market, cost, and business impact to guide trade-offs.
  • Go-to-Market Excellence: Partner with Product Marketing and Sales to define and execute GTM strategies that drive adoption and revenue growth.
  • Portfolio Management: Manage the hardware lifecycle including new introductions, sustaining priorities, and end-of-life planning.
  • Successful Launch: Define pricing, adoption plans, and ensure product-market fit while monitoring cost and business outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field from an accredited, not-for-profit university or college.
  • 12+ years of product management experience with a significant focus on hardware products (e.g., cameras, IoT, professional electronics, or consumer devices).
  • Proven track record of successful launches from concept to mass production with strong market adoption.
  • Strong business and financial acumen with experience owning a product portfolio and managing end-of-life decisions; full P&L experience a plus.
  • Technical fluency to engage in architecture discussions and trade-offs with engineering teams.
  • Customer-obsessed with ability to use qualitative and quantitative data to solve customer problems.
  • Strategic and analytical thinker who can synthesize market dynamics into a compelling product narrative.
  • Influential communicator with the ability to align stakeholders from engineers to executives.
  • Driven, action-oriented with an entrepreneurial mindset and experience managing complex cross-functional projects.
  • Preferred: Passion for 3D capture, computer vision; MBA or equivalent advanced degree.
