Position Overview

We're seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Food Safety & Quality Assurance Manager to lead the food safety and regulatory compliance efforts of our Central Baking facility. This role is critical to ensuring our operations meet and exceed the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure full compliance with ODA and USDA food safety regulations
• Maintain and update HACCP plans, GMPs, SSOPs, and other food safety documentation
• Lead internal audits and coordinate third-party inspections
• Develop, implement, and monitor food safety programs across all production lines
• Train staff on food safety protocols and best practices
• Investigate and resolve food safety incidents, implementing corrective actions
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, audits, and corrective actions
• Prepare reports for senior management and regulatory agencies
• Work closely with Quality Assurance, Production, and Maintenance teams
• Serve as the primary point of contact for food safety-related inquiries

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in food safety or quality assurance in a manufacturing setting
• Strong knowledge of ODA and USDA regulations
• HACCP certification required; PCQI certification preferred
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
