Position Overview:The HCPH Mosquito Vector Control (MVC) Director provides leadership, oversight, and operational management of the MVC Division. Responsibilities include developing and implementing mosquito-borne disease prevention and control efforts, managing a $4.5M budget, leading 64 employees, and covering 1,778 square miles. The Director reports to the interim Executive Director of HCPH.

Work Environment: Office and field sites, may include uneven terrain, heat, humidity.
Physical Demands: May lift objects up to 70 lbs., operate vehicles, and walk over uneven terrain.
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours/week, with potential for irregular hours during public health emergencies.
Employment contingent on background check and other standards.
