This leader will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable FP&A processes that support both our core Oil & Gas operations and our diversification into emerging end markets, including midstream, LNG, and data center infrastructure.

The role will serve as a critical business partner to the CEO and Operations leadership, providing forward-looking insights, actionable analytics, and financial discipline across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and manage dynamic financial models that incorporate backlog, pipeline, RFQ activity, labor efficiency, material costs, and capacity utilization.
  • Develop probability-weighted revenue forecasts by facility (Odessa vs Troy) and by customer segment (upstream, midstream, LNG, data centers).
Reporting & Analytics
  • Lead preparation of monthly and quarterly Board of Directors reporting packages, highlighting key variances, trends, and business drivers.
  • Deliver daily and weekly operational dashboards that tie manufacturing KPIs (weld-time vs total-time ratios, labor efficiency %, NDE pass rates, material variances) to financial outcomes.
  • Provide clear variance analysis of COGS, overhead absorption, and margin performance across product lines and facilities.
Business Partnering
  • Partner with Operations leadership to evaluate shop productivity, cost variance, subcontractor impact, and ROI on process improvements.
  • Work with Commercial leadership to assess project economics, bid competitiveness, and profitability of backlog vs pipeline projects.
  • Support Strategic Initiatives, including diversification into midstream, LNG, and cooling/data center infrastructure.
Process & Systems Development
  • Establish a scalable FP&A infrastructure, including standardized reporting, cost models, and forecasting processes.
  • Partner with IT/ERP teams to enhance data capture from Deltek, job-costing, and production systems.
  • Implement best practices for capital allocation, change order management, and cash flow forecasting.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required; MBA/CPA/CFA preferred.
  • Experience: 7–12 years progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or strategic finance.
  • Prior experience in manufacturing, industrials, EPC, or energy infrastructure strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with operations and interpret shop-floor metrics into financial insight.
Skills
  • Advanced financial modeling, scenario planning, and sensitivity analysis.
  • Expertise in Excel, Power BI/Tableau, and ERP reporting (Deltek/Arcom or equivalent).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and executive presentation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, private equity-backed environment.
Performance Expectations
  • Within 90 days: Deliver a comprehensive cash flow forecasting model tied to A/R analysis and backlog conversion.
  • Within 6 months: Implement a standardized monthly FP&A package for executive leadership and Board reporting.
  • Within 12 months: Build a scalable FP&A framework that supports diversification into new markets and facilities.
  • Competitive base salary with performance-based bonus
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Opportunities for career progression within a growing, diversified industrial manufacturer backed by a top-caliber private equity firm with $50B+ AUM
