We're working to transform AAA for the next century with a mission to create Members for life by unleashing the innovative spirit of our Team Members.NOTE: This role is hybrid and requires 3 days a week onsite in our Walnut Creek, CA office.Job SummaryThe Manager, AI Development and Operations will lead a team of machine learning engineers and data scientists building and implementing AI products on existing AI platforms within the enterprise guided by our strategic roadmap. This role requires technical expertise, project management and leadership to deliver impactful solutions that resonate with our Members. The leader will have a major influence in creating standardized AI processes at the organization and will need to partner with business lines, Strategy, and the Technology team during all steps of the process.Responsibilities / Job Duties

• Design and build AI solutions using Google Cloud AI and Salesforce AI platforms
• Train and fine tune models for performance, scalability and accuracy
• Evaluate training data for new solutions, and ensure high quality data sources
• Work with IT engineering and IT operations teams to integrate and deploy new solutions into MWG business systems
• Implement testing and ongoing monitoring programs so that deployed models improve reliability and accuracy over time
• Pilot proofs of concept to test new model approaches and validate proposals brought by business partner
• Business intelligence analysis and reporting
• Collaborate with stakeholders across MWG to understand business requirements and identify opportunities for AI-driven solutions
• Be responsible for components of business partner-led projects and lead internal projects to improve processes and operations
• Stay up-to-date on developments in generative AI and ML technology

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

• Strong mathematical and analytical capacity
• Strong communication and cross-team collaboration skills
• Ability to work in an agile environment and work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficient in relevant development tools such as Python and, SQL
• Experience with generative AI frameworks and machine learning libraries
• Understanding of machine learning algorithms, natural language processing, and deep learning architectures
• Experience and understanding of cloud technologies and implementations
• Experience with business intelligence tools

EDUCATION, COMPETENCIES, CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES

• Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 7+ years of relevant experience including data science, analytics, data engineering and/or software engineering
• 5+ years of experience in a leadership role, managing technical teams and providing guidance on the development of complex technical products.

• Preferred Qualifications
• MBA or Master's degree In Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Google cloud certifications

#VIC_RXWe target between minimum and midpoint of the range, and all offers are subject to a fair pay analysis - Compensation Range: Min: $183,518.00 - Mid: $200,724.00- Max: $217,929.00
