Position Summary

The Territory Business Manager (TBM) will report directly to the Regional Business Director and will be responsible for educating targeted customers in the launch of LUMRYZ for people living with narcolepsy. The TBM will be the face of Avadel to customers, engaging in qualified dialogues with healthcare professionals (HCPs) per approved marketing materials to support and grow appropriate use of Avadel products. All duties will be conducted in compliance with applicable regulations and Avadel's policies.

Essential Functions
  • Develops and grows business relationships with targeted customers within the assigned geography.
  • Develops a detailed local market business plan focusing on strategic growth opportunities, including tactical plans and a measurement system to capture results and insights.
  • Utilizes our Customer Engagement Model and available resources to educate HCPs and staff on Avadel products to grow LUMRYZ market share.
  • Manages the patient journey using available resources (Field Reimbursement Managers, National Account Directors, Nurse Care Navigators, etc.), helping offices navigate prescription to insurance criteria and product access for patients.
  • Applies pre-call planning, account management, and consultative selling skills, along with clinical expertise, to strengthen business and build advocacy for LUMRYZ.
  • Analyzes qualitative and quantitative market data to identify opportunities and priorities, including reimbursement trends and hub services insights.
  • Builds compliant cross-functional relationships with MSL, Managed Market and Reimbursement teams to deliver high-quality service to physicians, HCPs, and patients.
  • Works independently and professionally, adhering to Avadel's Code of Conduct and Ethics.
Experience And Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Passion for serving patients and helping build a company
  • 5+ years of Pharmaceutical/Biotech experience
  • Experience in Specialty markets required; Rare Disease preferred
  • Demonstrated and consistent track record of successful sales performance
  • Excellent communication, business acumen, and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Ability to travel up to 80% of the time (including overnight/weekend travel)
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record; must live in the geography and/or within 25 miles of key targeted customers
  • Credentialing requirements may apply for certain customers/HCPs (vaccinations, etc.); consult People & Culture if questions

Compensation and Benefits

Avadel's base salary range for this role is $150,000 to $185,000. The base salary offered may vary based on location and the candidate's qualifications. Eligible for short-term incentives, long-term incentives, and a company vehicle program. Comprehensive benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, 401K, ESPP, generous vacation, holidays, and personal time off.
