Overview

Veralto is seeking a Senior Director, Global Payroll to contribute to the mission of the Shared Services team, enabling the delivery of the best associate experience and allowing HR teams and associates to focus on high-value work through operational excellence, technology and analytics. This is a new role with the flexibility to be fully remote in the USA or CAN, reporting to the VP, HR Transformation & Services.

Responsibilities
  • Build and oversee the end-to-end payroll process and develop process strategy and vision.
  • Develop and translate strategy into operational goals, objectives and process roadmap, continually reassessing the roadmap based on learnings and regulatory shifts.
  • Drive continuous improvement in Payroll operations through proactive optimization and collaboration across stakeholders to drive standardization, automation, training and change management.
  • Develop and maintain Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators to monitor performance and process health against targets.
  • Define and maintain the process and control standard work, ensuring a strong internal controls environment.
  • Collaborate with Corporate and Operating Company Finance & HR teams and data owners to ensure consistency across policy, process and data, including training.
  • Create business cases for payroll projects to drive alignment.
  • Build and lead a highly engaged team.
Essential requirements
  • Apply payroll skills from an accounting or business degree and minimum 15 years of progressive experience in global payroll-related roles, including management; payroll certification preferred.
  • Deep functional expertise in payroll process and operations.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in a large multinational organization.
  • Familiarity with Workday, ADP, Oracle and similar applications.
  • Proven leadership and performance management skills across payroll, HR, IT, finance or accounting.
  • Willingness to travel 25% of the time.
Compensation and benefits
  • Base pay range: $150,000.00/yr - $228,000.00/yr.
  • This role is eligible for Bonus Pay.
