OverviewAssistant Project Manager, Principal Gifts
Required QualificationsReporting to the Assistant Vice President for Principal Gifts and Strategic Fundraising Initiatives, the Assistant Project Manager, Principal Gifts executes project tasks associated with the cultivation and stewardship activities for the University's Principal Gift-level donors ($1M+). Tasks include the production of gift impact reports, proposals and leadership briefings. The Assistant Project Manager creates and maintains a calendar of deadlines, updates strategy notes and project management tools, engages the resources required to complete each project and collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to communicate the vision and goals.
The Assistant Project Manager must be self-directed, able to work both independently as well as collaboratively with multiple teams within a highly complex environment. They are a deadline-driven, focused individual skilled at seeing projects through from conception to completion. They are detail-oriented and can successfully manage multiple priorities simultaneously, with a high level of adaptability as needs and priorities change. They must be able to develop strong relationships with stakeholders to promote positive, collaborative relationships and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
ResponsibilitiesThe Research Foundation of SUNY is a private educational corporation. Employment is subject to the Research Foundation policies and procedures, sponsor guidelines and the availability of funding. This is a full-time appointment. FLSA Exempt position, not eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA. Minimum salary threshold must be met to maintain FLSA exemption.
