Overview
A nationally recognized institutional finance firm is seeking a Director-level professional to join its growing Turnaround & Restructuring practice. This team is a market leader in advising creditor committees, litigation creditors, and other stakeholders in complex Chapter 11 and out-of-court restructuring scenarios.
This is a high-impact role for professionals with deep experience in creditor-side engagements, including UCC advisory, distressed investing, and debt private placements. Directors serve as both engagement leaders and senior individual contributors, managing analysts and driving execution across a range of restructuring and credit-related mandates.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support engagements involving Chapter 11 creditor committees, litigation claims, and distressed credit situations.
- Oversee junior team members and contribute directly to client deliverables and strategic recommendations.
- Collaborate with senior leadership on business development and client relationship management.
- Participate in other verticals including illiquid credit investing, debt placements, and leveraged finance.
Qualifications
Candidates must have:
- A bachelor's degree plus either:
- An MBA, JD, or CFA and at least 3 years of progressively responsible restructuring experience, or
- At least 5 years of progressively responsible restructuring experience.
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- Experience in creditor-side advisory, especially UCC engagements, is highly preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base pay range: $200,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr.
