EY's Oracle Services practice assists national consulting practices in planning, pursuing, delivering and managing large, complex full lifecycle application implementations, using Oracle SaaS and PaaS. EY's Application Systems Engineering group supports designing, architecting, delivering and leading innovative solutions that run clients' business.
The opportunityAs a Manager in Application Systems Engineering, you will help define user and customer requirements, focusing on user interface development across diverse platforms, and will play a pivotal role in engineering software components and services that ensure seamless communication within the system architecture.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring billability through chargeable work to external clients.
- Leading workstream delivery with strategic oversight.
- Managing project status and overseeing deliverable completion.
- Traveling as required by client engagements.
- Actively participating in client sessions and leading workstreams from planning to execution.
- Identifying additional service opportunities to drive sales.
- Leading specific RFP responses and managing engagement economics.
- Executing resource planning within budget constraints.
Skills And Attributes For Success
- Team with client technology professionals, and/or third-party strategic alliances to provide implementation of technology solutions.
- Demonstrate quality project execution and delivery by monitoring project/program team economics, performance against budget, and adjusting scope, timing, and resources as needed.
- Architect technology solutions focusing on data flow, data migration and data integration for supply chain processes across multi-vendor software landscapes.
- Develop people by guiding individuals to think independently, delegating work, conducting performance reviews, and providing feedback.
- Generate new business opportunities by understanding EY and its service lines and applying knowledge and services.
- Develop long-term relationships and networks internally and externally.
- Manage and supervise a team of technology professionals through all phases of the technology lifecycle.

To qualify for the role, you must have
- A 4-year bachelor's degree with at least 4-6 years of relevant experience.
- 4-6 years relevant experience with SCM / ERP application implementations as a Technical Lead, Application Development Lead or Enterprise Application Integration lead, with at least 2 years in a managerial/IT-business integration role.
- 2-3 full-cycle implementations of Oracle SCM Cloud and 3-4 Oracle EBS Applications implementations focusing on Order Management, Pricing, Inventory, Product Information Management, Procurement, and Manufacturing modules.
- 2-3 years of hands-on experience with FBDI, OTBI, REST and SOAP.
- Proven track record with integration tools/technologies such as Oracle Integration Cloud, MuleSoft, Dell Boomi or equivalent to architect and build integrations with Oracle Cloud Applications.
- Demonstrated use of Oracle methodologies such as OUM or AIM.
- Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service and technical writing skills.
- Ability and comfort with researching client inquiries and emerging issues, including new technologies.
- Willingness and ability to travel 60-80% of a work schedule.
Ideally, you'll also have
- Degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering, MIS, Mathematics, or related field (MBA or MS preferred).

What We Offer You
- Competitive compensation and benefits. Base salary ranges: US locations $142,600 to $261,500; NYC Metro, Washington State, and California (excluding Sacramento) $171,200 to $297,200. Total Rewards include medical/dental, pension and 401(k), and paid time off.
- Hybrid work model with most client-facing roles expected to be in person 40-60% of the time.
