What We Need: We are looking for a Material Handler to join our Gunlocke team in Wayland, NY! What You Will Do:* Loads, unloads, and moves materials and product to the proper location.* Package, or unpackage materials for movement* May operate material movement equipment (forklift, hand truck, cart) to assist with material movement.* Perform packing functions that may include building cartons, packing to standard, labeling with correct information using a shrink gun and transporting unit to proper location.* Perform shipping and/or receiving functions to properly load product onto correct material movement device (cart, truck, pallet).* Keep a neat and orderly workstation.* Participate in inventory counts.* Wear all required PPE; work safely at all times and report any unsafe condition to your Supervisor.* Perform Cycle Counts* Will be required to operate a forklift, must obtain certification.What You Have:* Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.* Ability to stand, stoop and bend for extended periods of timeWhat You're Good At:* Ability to consistently meet high quality/quantity performance standards* Must comply with company rules, regulations and safety practices
