Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure high-quality, patient-centered care and efficient throughput during admissions and discharges.
  • Participate in ongoing assessments of care quality, collaborating with management teams.
  • Foster a teamwork environment that promotes improved clinical outcomes.
  • Utilize service recovery strategies to maintain a patient-first culture.
  • Implement nursing strategies to enhance staff engagement and operational efficiency.
  • Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and training new staff, along with performance evaluations.
  • Manage staff scheduling and ensure productivity in alignment with patient care needs.
  • Maintain proper inventory levels of supplies and equipment.

Qualifications

  • Graduate from an accredited nursing school; Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher required.
  • Active Registered Nurse license in the applicable state or an active Compact/Multi-State license.
  • Current AHA or American Red Cross Basic Life Support certification required.
  • Minimum 2 years of RN Perioperative Nursing experience required.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
