Key Responsibilities
- Ensure high-quality, patient-centered care and efficient throughput during admissions and discharges.
- Participate in ongoing assessments of care quality, collaborating with management teams.
- Foster a teamwork environment that promotes improved clinical outcomes.
- Utilize service recovery strategies to maintain a patient-first culture.
- Implement nursing strategies to enhance staff engagement and operational efficiency.
- Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and training new staff, along with performance evaluations.
- Manage staff scheduling and ensure productivity in alignment with patient care needs.
- Maintain proper inventory levels of supplies and equipment.
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing school; Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher required.
- Active Registered Nurse license in the applicable state or an active Compact/Multi-State license.
- Current AHA or American Red Cross Basic Life Support certification required.
- Minimum 2 years of RN Perioperative Nursing experience required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
