Warehouse Counter Associate

Wolf Creek Co., a partner of Heritage Landscape, is seeking a Warehouse Counter Associate. The Warehouse Associate will properly and safely stock materials in our warehouse, pull inventory for customer pick-ups, use a forklift to unload inventory from incoming delivery trucks and load our trucks for jobsite deliveries. This full-time position will focus on order entry at the sales counter with other related warehouse duties such as stocking shelves, shipping products. Be part of a team because we have a team-first attitude. The workweek is Monday through Friday, with an opportunity for overtime during the busy season.

Duties:

• Maintaining and building relationships with customers, providing service by taking orders pulling merchandise and billing appropriately
• Entering customer orders and pulling orders accurately into our order processing system
• Inspecting products for defects and damages
• Order pulling/picking/staging
• Replenishment/shipping/receiving
• Staging orders for delivery and loading company vehicles in a warehouse/yard environment
• Other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Basic computer knowledge, Internet use
• Bilingual (English and Spanish) is preferred, but not required
• Ability to operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment preferred but not necessary.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs; 50 lbs on a repetitive basis
• Must have basic math skills for inventory counts; and English verbal and written skills to be able to read purchase orders and communicate with team members.
• Be reliable, safe and a team player.
• Able to pass criminal and driving background check and a pre-employment drug test.

Education/Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Experience working in a warehouse, distribution center, shipping and receiving department, or similar environment.
