Summary
The Recruiter will research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent to the organization. This position requires an extremely perceptive person who can relate to individuals at all levels within the organization.
Required Education and Experience
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 2 - 3 years recruiting experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- ATS experience
- Positive attitude
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Able to pivot and proactively source candidates via job boards etc.
Preferred (Not required)
- Manufacturing or Industrial recruiting experience desired but not required.
- ADP experience
- Corporate recruiting environment experience
Essential Functions
- Attends job fairs and hiring events as needed
- Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process.
- Collaborates with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
- Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
- Assists with job posting and advertisement processes.
- Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
- Checks employment applications and examines work history, education and training, job skills, compensation needs, and other qualifications of applicants.
- Informs applicants of job duties and responsibilities, compensation and benefits, work schedules and working conditions, company and union policies, promotional opportunities, and other related information.
- Keeps records of applicants not selected for employment.
- Evaluates selection and placement techniques by conducting research or follow-up activities and conferring with management and supervisory personnel.
- Searches for and recruits applicants for open positions.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
