• Contract Duration: 6 months
• Worksite Location: Eagan, MN
• Compensation: $22/hour

What you'll do as the Collector:

• Receive and process customer payments, posting amounts accurately to accounts.
• Locate, monitor, and manage overdue accounts.
• Contact customers by phone or in person to review overdue balances, explain terms, and resolve payment issues.
• Negotiate repayment plans or alternative solutions based on customers' financial situations.
• Persuade customers to resolve past-due accounts through payment, merchandise returns, or other arrangements.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records of all customer interactions and collection activities.

What you'll bring to the Collector role:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively.
• Customer service experience with the ability to remain professional and empathetic in challenging conversations.
• Proven ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and stay organized.
• Knowledge of relevant federal, state, and company collection policies and procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and familiarity with collection software systems.
• High school diploma or GED required
• 2–4 years of financial services or customer service experience preferred.
