This position offers administrative experience to highly motivated, organized, and ambitious candidates. The purpose of this position is to support the administrative team in the Department of Anesthesiology within the Medical School. Responsibilities: Administrative Support * Order, maintain, and organize supplies for work rooms or events * Sort mail and packages for Department personnel * Deliver various items to faculty, such as mail. May require travel to west and east bank locations * Assist with IT needs (reimaging devices, fixing computer accesses, laptop/desktop setup) * Assist with Administrative needs (scheduling, data entry, organizational documentation) * Copy, file, and fax paperwork * Manage onboarding tasks such as: gathering employee badges, building onboarding folders, and entering works data Event Support * Assist with Grand Rounds Morning Lectures (6am - 8am every Tuesday) including setting up and running presentation slides * Execute conference room set-ups, maintenance, teardowns, and cleaning * Optional hours for occasional weekend events Other * Setup and clean offices * Provide tours for new hires * Assist faculty, staff, and visitors * Additional duties and projects as assigned
QualificationsAll required qualifications must be documented on application materials. Required Qualifications * High School Diploma/GED or equivalent. * Great customer service skills * Strong communication (verbal and written) skills * Proficient in using (or able to quickly learn) Microsoft Office and Google applications * Teamwork-oriented * Positive attitude * Willing to grow in competence and responsibility * Must be able to work independently, efficiently, and accurately * Must be able to prioritize competing demands * Ability to maintain confidentiality * Attention to detail Preferred Qualifications * Flexible schedule to work 10-15 hours/week during academic year (Monday - Friday) * Able to work under HIPAA/University Data Security Regulations
Pay and BenefitsPay Range: $15.25; depending on education/qualifications/experience.
