Overview

Smart Rehab provides outpatient physical and occupational therapy services in the homes of older adults. We are expanding and currently seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) or Occupational Therapist (OT) to serve as the Clinical Market Director and lead the growth in the Washington, MO area. This is a unique opportunity for a PT or OT who wants to combine clinical expertise with business development and community outreach.

Description

Smart Rehab is seeking a Clinical Market Director to launch and grow our services in a new territory. This role is ideal for a licensed therapist who wants to combine patient care with leadership, business development, and team building. As a 1099 contractor, you'll enjoy flexibility and independence while earning revenue share as your market grows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary representative of Smart Rehab in your designated market
  • Build and maintain relationships with local therapists, healthcare professionals, and referral partners
  • Support recruitment of physical and occupational therapists by conducting outreach and meeting with potential team members
  • Help expand brand recognition by introducing Smart Rehab to clinics, assisted living and memory care facilities, physician offices, and other community partners
  • Serve as a clinical resource for newly onboarded therapists in your region
  • Provide feedback to the leadership team on local market trends and needs
  • Optional: See patients on a flexible, PRN basis if desire (you choose how many and when)
  • Partner with our central office team (who manages patient registration, billing, compliance, and documentation systems)

Qualifications

  • Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) or Occupational Therapist (OT) in the state of Missouri
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills
  • Comfortable networking with both therapists and healthcare professionals
  • Motivated, organized, and able to work independently
  • Passion for both clinical care and community connection

Compensation

  • 1099 independent contractor position
  • Patient Care: Pay per visit
  • Market leadership: % of gross revenue generated within your designated region
  • Compensation is performance based and grows as your market grows
  • You maintain flexibility: treat patients, lead local growth, or do both
  • All registration, billing, and admin handled by our central office
