Physical Therapist – Outpatient Rehabilitation

This role provides one-on-one outpatient rehabilitation care for adult and geriatric patients, with a focus on neurological and musculoskeletal conditions. Patients may include those recovering from stroke (CVA), traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, multiple sclerosis, and other progressive neurological disorders. Specialized pelvic floor rehabilitation experience is highly valued.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized therapy to patients in an outpatient rehabilitation setting (average caseload: 9 visits/day, daily census ~11).
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor patient progress.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including occupational therapists and other rehab specialists.
- Document patient care using Epic (preferred).
- Provide education to patients and families to support recovery and long-term health.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Physical Therapist in Louisiana
- BLS certification (AHA)
- Outpatient neuro and adult rehabilitation experience preferred
- Epic charting experience preferred
- First-time travelers accepted
Schedule:
- Day shift, 5x8s (06:45 AM – 6:15 PM)
