The Claims Analyst role will be supporting a variety of responsibilities in support of NAM claim vendors, including data management, reporting, billing and operations.

How you will create an impact

  • Support Lead claims cost reporting for all North American and Canadian vendors, creating detailed reports to track spend, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to leadership.
  • Develop and present vendor spend reports and bill analysis summaries, highlighting cost drivers, variances, and opportunities for savings.
  • Monitor and evaluate vendor performance metrics against service level agreements (SLAs) driving corrective actions to enhance operation efficiency.
  • Partner with the Master Data Management (MDM) team to improve the accuracy and consistency of vendor data used for spending reports, enhancing data integrity and reporting reliability.
  • Utilize data visualization tools to create visualizations that simplify complex claims data for executive reporting.
  • Create PowerPoint presentations showcasing vendor spend trends, total vendor spend, and key cost drivers, enabling upper management to present insights effectively.
  • Support processing/reporting of vendor exception submission requests from the business to determine risk compliance of non-contract vendors.
  • Provide responses to e-mails, concerns and resolve complaints from both vendors and internal skate holders.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience working in insurance claims/operations type role.
  • Experience working in a team support role building strong internal and external relationships.
  • Strong analytical skills, customer focus, and interpersonal & relationship skills
  • Moderate skills in MS Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint, and MS Outlook.
  • Ability to troubleshoot basic data/process issues
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and results oriented.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
  • Work with team members to identify and implement solutions
  • Ability to work under own initiative, be proactive and show flexibility to meet business needs
  • Highly motivated and ability to motivate others to achieve common goal.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Fluency in English
