Job Description: Preparing parts/components for internal, or outside assembly, including processing manufacturing orders and adjusting inventory levels and locationsPerform counts of inventory items, including A, B, C counts, and adjust stock levelsStocking of supplies, materials, and components within the materials and manufacturing areas.Follow company procedures for securely locked items and handling of the keys (once trained)Put away materials from vendors - physically moving materials (stock rotation)Assisting where help is neededUses SAP programs for transactionsPicking & Kitting:Select and prepare individual components for in-house assembly and external contract manufacturing.Handle delicate items like electronic and optical components with care (e.g., grounding, cleanliness protocols).Inventory Management:Perform daily inventory counts with accuracy and common sense.Identify discrepancies and escalate issues when materials don't match descriptions.Material Receiving & Restocking:Put away received materials following FIFO (First-In, First-Out) protocols.Rotate stock and manage overflow locations to maintain inventory integrity.Order Fulfillment:Pick parts for work orders ensuring correct and timely selection.Restock depleted inventory from overflow areas.Use safe lifting practices and seek assistance when needed.System Transactions:Execute material transactions in SAP.Prioritize candidates with SAP experience or similar ERP systems.Communication & Collaboration:Communicate effectively across departments (Operations, Sales Ops, etc.).Document interactions and updates via email (Outlook proficiency preferred).Work Environment:Adapt to a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, especially during quarter-end.Maintain organization and focus during both routine and urgent tasks.Shift: Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5pm (hours may be subject to change after training) Requirements Can routinely lift up-to 50+ poundsMS Office & ExcelMinimum of 4 years or relevant work experienceDetail oriented and comfortable to ask questions to complete the task accuratelyStrong interpersonal communication skills (verbal and written)Efficiently and accurately when faced with stressful situationHandle stressful situations and work in a fast-paced environment.Inventory control software is helpfulSAP experience is preferredManufacturing backgroundPrior SAP work from a materials perspective is preferredTake pride in ownership in what they do is importantAspirations to take knowledge they learn as a building blockExamples of where attention to detail has helped avoid problems in prior work experience.Inventory accuracyExperience: Minimum 4 years in a manufacturing environment handling sensitive components.Soft Skills: Reliable, communicative, organized, and proactiveCalifornia Fair Chance Act:Synectics Inc. will consider qualified applicants with a criminal history pursuant to the California Fair Chance Act.
