Position: Lead Mechanical Design Engineer

Direct Hire

Salary: 120-140K (DOE) plus bonus

5 days a week onsite to start then potential for hybrid schedule

Overview:

Long standing manufacturing company with decades of experience is looking to bring aboard a Lead Mechanical design Engineer to assist in the design, manufacturing and support of automated, semi-automated and manual equipment. You will be responsible for mechanical aspects of projects from concept design to implementation as assigned. Provide customer support for new and existing equipment. Assist with quote development and Sales Orders and support creation of project documentation.

Key Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer, ideally 5+
• Bachelor's degree in engineering and an acute understanding of Math
• Proficiency with SolidWorks or Inventor
• AutoCAD experience is a plus
• Mechanical design and drafting experience
• Experience with equipment or machine/system design not just parts
• Ability to collaborate with various teams and communicate effectively with customers
• Leadership and mentorship experience
