SPARKS, the DC area's largest privately held staffing company, is seeking an experienced, energetic Recruiting Leader/Account Manager.
About the Role
Responsibilities include recruiting, interviewing and leading staff, making placement decisions to match employees with job assignments, counseling and problem-solving, and delivering a high level of quality service to our clients. We need a self-starter with a minimum of 2+ years of Recruiting, Account Management, and leadership experience within the staffing industry. BA/BS degree is preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Recruiting team on a daily basis by participating in open order meetings and holding themselves and team members accountable
- Ensure effective recruiting plans are in place & regularly monitor ad placement
- Reinforce highest standards through observation of staff, and recommending operation improvements, while personally modeling a sense of urgency for all workflow processes
- Focus on existing business development, implementing strategies to ensure account growth
- Invest time in learning sales methodology so that promotional opportunities may be realized
- Foster a sense of urgency and a solutions-based approach to retaining the business relationship
- Mentor new staff at every level, monitoring training checklists, shadowing performance and making suggestions for improvement
- Engage in creative team building activity to strengthen branch cohesiveness
Qualifications
- BA or BS degree, experience within a recruitment environment (staffing industry experience strongly preferred) with a history of results exceeding expectations
- Strong leadership and communications skills
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs
- Demonstrated competitiveness and innate desire to win
- Strategic thinker who has the ability to create and implement tactical business plans and adapt to changing priorities
Required Skills
- Proficient in MS Office products (Excel, Word, MS Outlook, MS Power Point)
- Expertise in sourcing through LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, Monster, and a strong knowledge of boolean commands
- Proven history managing client accounts and increasing sales through excellent service & delivery of talent
- Experienced working with social media
Pay range and compensation package
SPARKS offers a Monday through Friday schedule with 3 office and 2 remote days, a competitive salary with commission/bonus structure, full benefits package including medical, dental and 401K, vacation and life insurance.
