About the Role
A leading global fintech company is seeking a Head of Risk (US) to lead its US risk function. This is a pivotal role in the company's strategic expansion across the Americas, requiring a senior stakeholder with deep expertise in payments, enterprise risk, and regulatory engagement
You'll be instrumental in shaping and executing the US risk strategy, ensuring alignment with regulatory expectations and internal governance standards. This is a high-impact opportunity to join a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment at a critical growth stage.
Key Responsibilities
? Serve as the primary risk contact for US regulatory bodies.
? Develop & implement a US-specific risk management framework aligned with global standards.
? Oversee risk governance structures, including board-level reporting.
? Partner with global/local teams to identify & mitigate risks
? Monitor risk profile via KRIs, incidents, and assessments
? Foster a proactive risk culture across the US business.
Ideal Candidate
?? At least 10 years in senior risk management within a regulated financial institution (payments/fintech a plus).
?? Proven regulatory engagement experience with credibility at senior levels.
?? Strong knowledge of enterprise risk frameworks & governance
?? Exceptional communication & influence skills at executive/board level.
?? Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
?? Based in (or open to relocating to) Atlanta; hybrid work model.
